My name is Clio Gevirtz, and I have been making films since I was 13. I grew up in San Francisco, where I participated in SF Art and Film for 5 years. There, I made several short films that went on to festivals nationwide, and met the people who are still my primary crew. I just graduated from Columbia University with a BA in Film Studies, where I spent my time sitting in dark theaters trying to stay awake. Outside of the classroom, I have continued to create short films and immerse myself in the New York film/TV industry through internships and production work. I have interned in development and production roles at Viacom’s Comedy Central, NBC-U’s Bravo, Jax Media, Optomen Productions, and more. In my own content, I love focusing on the absurd or fantastical and I think that comedy might be society’s last hope.
I am currently scheming up my next project from a broom closet or overpriced cafe in Brooklyn and looking to get more production experience in the New York Film/TV industry. Please hire me.
