My name is Clio Gevirtz, and I have been making films since I was 13. I grew up in San Francisco, where I participated in SF Art and Film for 5 years. There, I made several short films that went on to festivals nationwide, and met the people who are still my primary crew. 

I just graduated from Columbia University with a BA in Film Studies, where I spent my time sitting in dark theaters trying to stay awake.

Outside the classroom I continued to create short films and immerse myself in the New York film/TV industry through internships and production work. I have interned in development and production roles at Viacom’s Comedy Central, NBC-U’s Bravo, Jax Media, Optomen Productions, and more. In my own content, I love focusing on the absurd or fantastical, and I think that comedy might be society’s last hope.

When I’m not working on my own projects, I work in production in New York City. I’ve worked as an assistant director, associate producer, set PA, office PA, director’s intern, and videographer on commercial, TV, and narrative feature projects. Please hire me.
